The Harmon Family – Orange County Family Photographer

Sooooo, this blog post is so very overdue.  Last fall, I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting and photographing the fabulous Harmon family.  I didn’t post any images on my blog because the pictures were to be a Christmas surprise for their family and friends.  I meant to post the images ASAP in January, but then decided to showcase them on my *new* blog – and it took me A LOT longer than expected to get this new blog up and running.

But now, . . . drumroll please . . . here are a few images featuring the Harmons.  Oh, my goodness – how gorgeous are they?  Big sis C. (I  love her name – it is very similar to my middle name) and little sis E. were just incredible.  C. was very mature and self-possessed – a real sweetheart, so agreeable.  E. was full of giggles, big smiles, and beautiful energy.  I wanted to bring both of them home with me.  Chris and Kim, maybe we can strike up a deal?  Do you ever need a babysitter?  ;)

And where do C. and E. get this wonderful inner and outer beauty from?  Well, just take a look below – aren’t Chris and Kim just gorgeous?  I love this picture of them!

Thank you Chris and Kim for allowing me to spend a gorgeous afternoon with you.  And, seriously, if you ever need a babysitter.  Call. Me.

The C. Family | San Diego Family Photographer

Gorgeous.  Simply gorgeous.  The kids, quite obviously.  The couple, very clearly.  The house, the light, everything.

I met up with Louis and Kalpana and their sweetie-pie kids K. and M. a couple weeks ago in their amazing home.  What a dream (!) it was to photograph in a home with PERFECT lighting conditions.  Being a natural light photographer, that is pretty important for sweet images.  :)  But most importantly, the key to sweet images is photographing families that cherish being with each other. And Louis and Kalpana have it all figured out in that department.  :)

I love these guys.  They are sweet and funny and kind and so very much in love.  Take a look!

Baby R. | San Diego Newborn Photographer

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing this beautiful baby today.  World, meet R.

What I know about R.:

1. She is a very, very, very mellow and easy going baby.

2. She likes to make the cutest grunting noises when she stirs.

3. She has long, long fingers.  A piano career will be a perfect match for those perfect fingers.

4. She has tons of hair, so spiky, so soft!

*le sigh*  Oh, how I love photographing newborns.

Baby E. | San Diego Newborn Photographer

It is just perfectly wonderful to visit with babies that are as happy and delightful as baby E.  She is just so amazingly adorable.  You might remember that I photographed E. back in November for her 1 month portraits.  And because her parents signed up for the “Sweat Pea” sessions, I get to visit E. again and again.  I’m going to soooo love seeing this bebe grow!

I had a great time with the Conway family – mom C., dad T. doggie C. and beautiful baby E.  I arrived bright and early in their home with some of my fave baby props.  Can you guess which one E.  liked best?  I tell you, I almost left the wheelbarrow behind in the Conway home – E. was so happy relaxing in it.  Who needs a Bumbo, right?  ;)

You might notice that the first image is a little softer in processing.  I’m trying out a vintage look with some images that seem more suited for this type of post processing.  Clients are able to chose from my signature “color pop.” my traditional B&W, and a classic, vintage post processing.  I love variety!

Here are some of my fave captures from the session.  Thanks for taking a peek!
