I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the very beautiful Baby E. for a year now. Christy and Todd, here is one picture of your baby girl.

Since all of my sessions from the last 2 weeks were postponed because of the rainy weather (boy, it is going to be a busy November). I bring to you . . . . the 4th installment of the Jinky Workshop I attended in September. The first JinkyArt Worshop Sneak Peek was published in mid-September. JinkyArt Workshop Part II was published in mid-October. And JinkyArt Workshop Part III was from just a week ago.
So, yes. So much light I almost didn’t know what to do with it. And I was shooting into the sun. Whoa! I had never really tried backlighting before and wanted oh-so badly to really get great flare shots with the gorgeous light from that late afternoon. Wow! Can I just say I’m in loooooove with backlighting. Here are the images featuring a very beautiful family and all that yummy light.
The first image from the session I featured back in September is one of my fave of all time – CLICK HERE
And now, the new features:

This is the third installment of select images from the FABULOUS JinkyArt Workshop that I attended in Los Angeles in early September. The 1st sneak peek was posted in September and the 2nd sneak peak was posted a couple of weeks ago.
This cutie-pie little boy and his sweet baby sister were full of energy! They were also very, very understanding when all 12 of us photographers wanted to snap pictures of them. How can you resist them? They are too adorable! Don’t you just love their red-hair and bright smiles???

Do I photograph the sweetest, most beautiful families on the planet? Yes, yes I do. May I present to you Exhibit A for evidence?
Jennifer and David have such a beautiful family. GAH! Did you spy big sis A. in THIS blog post? She is a doll, right? That auburn hair, the dimples, and all that personality. She had me wrapped around her little finger from the first “Hello.” Now you get to meet baby sis C. - the happiest, most easy going 5 month old I’ve photographed recently. I love the images of the family walking down Balboa Park’s avenue where she is spying her sis and then spying the crazy lady sitting on the floor (that’d be me!) and cracking up in delight! And of course, Jennifer and David – such a beautiful couple. Gorgeous smiles, super stylish. What an honor it was to photograph them, especially since Jennifer is a photographer herself.
Ahhh, Edgerton family, I wanted to post these pictures for you a bit sooner since I know we’ve been planning your photo seession for some time now. I wanted you to sit side by side, all huddled around the computer so that you could take a peak at them all together. Phew, I made it right under my cut-off. It was sooo, soooo hard to just chose a couple of images for the blog post, so I hope you didn’t mind the extra wait when I show you all of THESE! And you will notice that these have a vintage tone to them. I love the softness and airiness of the vintage look. But never fear, my standard processing will always make an appearance!

About every 3 or 4 months, I get together with San Diego photographer pals to shoot for fun and to update our headshots. This time around, I was excited to hang out with Melissa, Michelle, Brad and Katie, Masen, Jennifer, Ian, and Cindy (who took my awesome headshot I am currently using on FB. Love ya Cindy!). And even though there were, like, 10 adults at the shoot, I ended up spending more time with sweetie-pie J. (Brad and Katie’s little boy). I think it is a good thing I’m a child and family photographer, don’t you think?
Apologies – I resized these too small but I’m just dying to get them out on the blog and decided not to resize them. Hope they still look okay!

Here is a small set of images from the Jinkyart Workshop I attended in early September. The first image I featured can be seen here. These 3 kiddos have the BEST Italian names ever. As a matter of fact, those exact names were on the “short list” my hubby and I created when we were expecting our first kidlet.
Here are the images!
