One more for today . . .

Hello everyone! It has been sooo quite here on the blog. I apologize for not updating on a regular basis these past 2 weeks. I have been busy, busy finalizing images for all the families I photographed these last couple of months. I have also been preparing my “little green boxes” filled with goodies to send to clients. What is inside the “little green box”? Shhhh, it’s a secret . . .
Here is one image of the incredibly beautiful B. family!

This week has been so much fun. I have really loved showcasing the energy, the fun, the kookiness, and the silliness of the families and kids I photograph. In my opinion, THAT is what really makes a great picture. I’ve been asked many times, “How do you get kids and families to look so happy and energetic in your photos?” Well, I can’t say I take too much credit for that. I photograph the BEST, BEST, BEST families on the planet in the whole universe. THEY bring the fun. THEY bring the energy. They make my job pretty easy!
10 years from now, 20 years from now, when your kids are no longer 3, 7, or 12, but rather teens and adults, won’t you just chuckle and remember how they were at their best, how they were as KIDS? Will you remember how you made them smile, how you made them happy? I think you will.
Here is the last “fun and games” sneak peak of the week. This the H. Family.

Hello! I’m still here! I have been neglecting this little blog, but only because I’ve been photographing families like mad! This is certainly the busiest time of the year for me. It is pretty exhilarating, but it can also get a little hectic. And, you know what has made this season even more hectic? The rain. Yep. The rain on weekends. Noooooo! This is when families usually take their family photos because everyone is off from work and school. So, I apologize for not posting as often these last couple of weeks. I’ll have tons of images to share in a few.
Can I just share a couple of pix with you? You’ve seen these cuties before. This is the third time I meet with these two lovelies and their parents. And, I have to say – I got a little emotional when I saw K. bounding out of the car and run over to me to greet me. She was sooooo tall, and her hair was so long, and she was so not a little girl anymore. And then came C. – who can forget C, right? With his big, big blue eyes and sweet smile. Gah! Love these kiddos. Okay, let me show you just two images. As I am scanning images and culling away to get a gallery ready for the family, there are always two or three images that POP OUT at me. For this family, these were the two that I grabbed immediately and wanted to post.

Oh, and you may have noticed that I’ve been showing more BW work on my happy, colorful little blog. Hmm, . . . could be the season . . . could be that BW was my first love . . . could be that I’ve been shooting BW film in addition to digital. Never fear, the color will return!
Have a great week – I’ll be back with more pix of these cuties and lots more color!
