Aren’t these cards delicious?

Hi there! My name is Jennifer and I am a stylist in San Diego, CA.
I also write a daily fashion and style blog www.styleyourlifeblog.com.
The lovely and talented Sylvia has asked me to do monthly columns here on her blog!
So be sure to check back for monthly fashion photography inspiration.
January is about budget looks. We have all spent a great deal of money in the last few months.
I don’t know about you but sales and deals are my personal favorite kind of shopping!
But now matter what your “budget” you can still look great!
Have some fun with colors patterns and accessories. Especially with the kids.
Pick a fun piece or two then build off those. For example I fell in love with the little girls hoody and boots so I built the rest of the outfits around those two pieces.
You don’t all need to “match” just be sure that the colors you wear are complimentary to each other!
For example yellow and blue then mixing in a little grey.
All the pieces in these to collages came from Old Navy and Target.
Two great stores that have current, in style pieces, that are afford ably priced.
For additional wardrobe advice come to my blog any time!

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing adorable J. and her family about a week ago. She is the granddaughter of one of my dear friends and a summer playmate to my oldest son. Whenever she is in San Diego, we try to meet up with her and plan fun outings and exciting adventures! This time, the exciting adventure for me was to photograph her and her family. I just knew we were going to have tons of fun – she has an extraordinary personality! Because J.’s grandmother is a librarian and because J. is an avid reader, I knew incorporating my vintage student desk and a stash of favorite literature would suit J. perfectly.
These are just a few images I’ve selected for this sneak peek – more to come soon!

Thank you so much for your interest in my photography. I very much appreciate you choosing me to capture your family as it is right now – the love, the interaction, the relationships shared. I understand that custom portraiture is your family’s investment – and because you have selected me to provide for you the highest quality experience in child and family portraiture, I’m happy to announce my 2011 Pricing.
