A couple of weeks ago I had the great pleasure of hanging out with the Hunter family. I couldn’t BELIEVE I finally got to meet them. D. and I had been going back and forth, back and forth trying to find the perfect date for the session. Finally, we found a good date on the calendar – but it got rained out. We rescheduled, and it rained again. We rescheduled but got our calendars mixed up and we had to postpone yet again! So, finally, finally, finally I got to meet D. and her husband B. and their 4 awesome kids – S., J., K., and L.
Let’s go in order from oldest to youngest.
This is S. He reminds me a lot of my oldest son. S. is 4 years older than my son, but their quiet personality is something that is such an intrinsic part of them that it is quite magnificent.

J. has a vivid personality, she radiates exuberance and humor. This image was taken at the very beginning of the session – she was still warming up to me. Look at her hair!

You met K. yesterday! She was another one that loooooooved the camera. And, the camera loved her!

And last but not least, L. – such a great toddler. She surely kept up with her older brother and sisters! Yup, she did! When D. told me about L. via email she said that L. was “curious about the world . . .” Exactly! She would ably toddle away from us to pick flowers, climb rocks, stare at passing horses, and loved every minute of it.

Meet D. and B. – super easy going parents. You can tell how much they foster togetherness by the way the kids related to each other and to their parents.

And finally, one of my faves. As soon as I saw this a couple of weeks ago, as my card reader was downloading my images on to my computer, I immediately flagged it as a favorite. I love S.’s smile and the way D. is admiring her first “baby.”
