I’m very, very, very, very excited to share with you a new kind of blog post with you today. Did I say I was VERY excited? Good, just checking . . .
You see, I love music. Love it. Can’t live without it. Know a lot about it. Dreamed of writing for Rolling Stone. Dreamed of being a concert photographer. Dreamed of working with musicians and taking their portraits. Married a musician. I. JUST. LOVE. MUSIC.
And so today, I’d like to share with you a new project. I’d like to feature a favorite portrait of a musician, an artist. I do this with the hope that you get to know me a little better, you may even share my taste in music! Perhaps, you will even check out the work of the musicians I am featuring and find one or two or more that you like! Perhaps you’ll want to take me to a concert because you’ll think I’m super cool and will want to hang out with me. Haha! Just kidding, . . . sort of . . .
More importantly, I’d like to do this to highlight the incredible work of amazing photographers I admire and that I wish I could *BE* for a day or two!
I’m starting off with this image by Danny Clinch, who has photographed tons and tons of great artists – Elvis Costello, Radiohead, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, and this man, Eddie Vedder. His new album, Ukulele songs, was released last week.

I love this portrait because it is simple.
I’m going to see Eddie Vedder in concert in July! Whooooo, hooooo! Eddie, his ukulele, and 2247 other fans – it will be awesome! And I’ll be singing. Loudly.
