San Diego Beach Photographer | The D-V Family

I know some kiddies have are back in school. I know some families have ended their summer travelling. I’m still hanging on to summer.

It was so, so, so great to meet G., M., K. and A. for a beach session. Just one for now.

San Diego Beach Photographer | R. and K. and Mom

Southern California definitely has some of the best beaches on Earth. I’ve been to my fair share of beaches, Florida, Mexico, South Africa, France, Italy, England, Hawaii. And I stand by my statement. Really. Southern California has some of the best beaches on Earth! If you haven’t had a chance to come out and visit, I highly suggest you do so. I think doing the Highway 1 drive from Southern California all the way up into Northern California is worthy of making it on your bucket list. Trust me. You’re gonna love it here.

I met my good friend Clarice on a Southern California beach a few months ago, She was helping me scout out a new location. This was such a quickie little session, 25 minutes, boom, boom, done. Both big sis R. and little brother K. stole my heart. We had dinner plans after the session, but I had to rush back home and cancelled out on them. BOO! Clarice, can I come up and visit you again soon? I’m buying dinner! Love you guys!

Coronado Beach Photographer | The G. Family

Once again, I got to meet up with one of my fave families in the whole world for a quick, quick family photo shoot. I’ve known Dacely and Paulo for *ahem* over 2 decades.  And that is all I’ll say about when we met.  What I do want to say is actually quite obvious.  They are a beautiful, beautiful family.  Inside and out!  I love to grab dinner with Dacely and chat and chat over a drink or two.  I love the advice she gives me, I love her perspective on all things important.  And I love joking around with Paulo much like a sister and brother would.  Really, I feel like they are family.

So, here they are, my beautiful friends and their lovelies, big bro J. and little bro A.

The R/H Family in Coronado | San Diego Vacation Photographer

So, here they are.  The incredibly wonderful R/H family!  I was so, so, so thrilled when Caroline contacted me regarding family portraits.  Firstly, she is a dear friend of my husband’s.  Also, she and her husband and baby boy were out in California vacationing and visiting with family for the winter holidays.  And finally, I knew I would get to meet her little 9 month old handsome little man.  *Squeee*  Being a mom of two, I have a such a special fondness for photographing babie s this age because it reminds me of when my little guys were even little-er.  *Squeee*

So, here they are, the beautiful R/H family.  Please move out to CA, guys!  It is paradise!  With love . . .

First {Photo} Blog Post of 2012

Wow.  It has been kind of quiet around this ol’ blog, huh?  I can explain.  Honestly.  December was super busy and fun in the Borgo household.  I didn’t photograph any families since I try to end all of my photo shoots in early November so that I can edit client images and print out their photos in time for the holiday season.  The Borgos were busy enjoying time together celebrating with family and friends the joy and traditions of the holiday season.

Oh, and did I mention we had some major home remodeling done.  My. House. Was. A. Mess.  I don’t know about you, but I really need to have cleanliness and organization in order to get moving and motivated.  So, needless to say, I neglected this ol’ blog.  But don’t worry – I’ll have lots of blog posts coming up in the next few weeks!

In the meantime, let me leave you with pictures of my two crazies.  These were shot with a fun fish-eye lens.  Happy New Year everyone!
