How can it possibly be that I know so many rad photographers??? I love this girl! Kathleen Weibel from Kathleen Weibel Photography in League City/Houston, Texas is so super rad!! I met Kathleen for the first time a few weeks ago and could instantly see why she gets such amazing shots of families, kids, and HS seniors – she has such a great personality, people feel super comfortable in front of her lens!

Whooooo hoooooo! Whooooo hoooop deee deeee dooooooh! Today I bring you the work of one of my fave photographers in the world, one of my fave people in the world; the funny, the talented, the incredible Laura Morita of Laura Morita Photography. I got a chance to hang out with Laura a couple of months ago up in San Francisco and had a blast, blast, blast. When can I come and see you again, Laura? Huh? Huh?
Gah!!! How cute are these two!!! More from this session with this gorgeous couple and their gorgeous kids coming early next week! Have a great weekend everyone!
I was so, so honored to hear from Ann asking if I was available to photograph her family. You see, this is the first time Ann and Steve have gotten professional family photos. And to make it more exciting, her son Z. is a senior in high school and this gave us the opportunity to highlight him and his interests and achievements.
Ann, Steve, Z, H. and doggie I. it was such an extreme pleasure to meet with you. Here are just a few images for you. :)
I love, love, love, love photographing the Rossons! They are fun! They are stylish! They are sweet! They totally, totally go for my kooky ideas. :) This is the 3rd year I meet with them and they decided to showcase the kids this year – big sister M., little brother M. and super pet Paco.
Don’t forget to check out Jennifer’s style BLOG – I visit it regularly! She gives out excellent advice on EVERYTHING stylish! Don’t miss her giveaways!

Hello everyone! I hope all of you had a wonderful and delicious Thanksgiving. And, I hope that those of you that braved the malls today had a great time and returned victorious! We spent the day with my parents. They are great, great cooks and we always savor every single bite of their cooking. However, because we are vegetarian, David and I take care of a portion of the Thanksgiving meal. We enjoy Tofurky, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad and cranberry sauce. Yummmmm!
Phew! It has been a busy, busy, busy past couple of weeks. Because of all the rain we’ve been getting, several sessions have had to be rescheduled and this has made the last couple of weeks super busy.
I’m excited to finally show you more images of the Lehman family. The first image you will see below was featured in an informative, little blog post (CLICK HERE) a few weeks back.
This is the second time I meet with the Lehmans for photographs. They are a very snuggly, cuddly family. You can tell how much they adore each other, how much they have fun with each other, how much they looooooooovvvvvvve each other. Oh, and I love, love, love their sense of style. Often times, families (including my own) fret over the perfect outfits to wear, how to coordinate the entire look, how to “dress up,” or how to look casual. The Lehmans are always stylish, keeping it simple, keeping it relaxed, and keeping their style a representation of themselves.
Well, without any further ado, let me show you a few more images.
Before I sign off for a few days, I wanted to showcase one image from Monday’s session with M. and M.
It is always such a delight to photograph these kids. Big sis is so sweet and always up for trying anything. Little bro M. is such a funny kid!!! You wouldn’t know it from the picture below, he was cracking me up with his Zoolander-like faces during session. I remember when I first met these cuties – 3 years ago. They were so shy around me. But now, well, they know me and they know I’ll bring a few fun ideas for them to try out. :)
Happy, happy, happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I hope it is a cozy one, a relaxing one, a delicious one for you and yours!
Here is just one for now.
Ohhhhhh, I wanted to post, like, a bizillion images of Robert, Erin, K. and C. But hopefully, these 4 will be enough for now.
This is the second year in a row that I’ve met with the J. family for their family portraits. I am incredibly flattered and honored to work with such amazing families year after year. I see their kids grow, I build a friendship with them over time – really, this is the BEST part of my job.
Thanks so much J. family! Here is a little sneak peek for you!
