Since today is Friday, and I’m hoping you have plans to go catch some music or a movie this weekend, I’m going to finish off with a picture I took of the a great, great jazz duo. Two young guys – twin brothers Jared and Jonathan Mattson, that have a great, great sound.Check out The Mattson2 on Facebook or download free music from their MySpace page. Can I share with you a few images of one of my fave people on Earth? Last week, I shared one pic of my hubby David Borgo, who is a not only an amazing hubs and dad, but also a super awesome, ridiculously talented jazz musician and professor at UCSD. He is the talent in the family, for sure!
You can check out any of his seven CDs on Amazon, iTunes, or CDBaby. The music ranges from straight-ahead to improv. There is something there for everyone who likes jazz! My fave song of his? ”Oddity” from his second CD Massanetta Springs. That song rocks!!!! And it is awesome live!!
