Pheeeewww! You were probably wondering where I’ve been! January was a busy, busy month – I haven’t been shooting much, mind you – but a few family projects took up a lot of time in the middle of January. Then the WHOLE Borgo clan got hit by the flu, so off to the doctor’s office we trekked with tissues in hand. Finally, I’m beginning to feel almost back to normal, so I just HAD to post these images that were taken a couple of weeks ago.
Can these girls be any cuter? Meet older sis G., the twins Z. and O. and the baby of the family, I. And I hope she doesn’t see that I’m calling her a “baby” because I’m CERTAIN she would tell me otherwise. LOL! She is a spunky, energetic, and very adorable little girl.
Whenever I set out to photograph kids or a family, I try to capture the real “them.” That is why I spend so much time with families – I especially enjoy working with families that have selected me as their family photographer year after year. Only by getting to know a family and kids and making them feel relaxed am I able to capture their shyness, their mischievousness, their quiet energy, their funniness. And in these following images, I hope you see how G. is a wonderful and caring older sister, how Z. has a great sense of humor, how O. is mature beyond her years, and how baby I. is full of little-girl -energy.
I hope you love these images as much as I enjoyed spending my time with the wonderful W. sisters

and here I am trying a fun BW processing technique – very pinkish, a Valentine Day’s BW conversion, if you will . . .
